Digital Use Divide

Researchers find large differences in how effectively various groups of people can use digital technology. Those differences are often referred to as the digital use divide.

Closing this divide in learning is quite important. However, it’s not enough to transform learning.

It’s important to close the digital use divide effectively by ensuring that all students are aware of using technology as a tool to engage in creative and interactive life-long learning experiences rather than passively consuming online content.
